Spouse of Louis Hébert, Marie Rollet is the head of the first family to settle in Quebec in 1616. She and her husband were the first to clear the land in the region, without the help of animals, only with the strength of their arms. She gave birth to three children: Anne, Guillemette and Guillaume.
